Its the year 2036! Quick, what do you wish you paid more attention to in 2025-26?

Most likely that I spent more time going over my lessons while in university. That way, I would have gotten my degree in 2029 with "summa cum laude" and I could have had a better job then the one I am currently having now.

Although I did spend every single minute going over my lessons and studying, I have the feeling I could have done more than what I did.

Oh well, being an astronomer is not bad after all. I have my nose in the star just the same 😆

Better would obviously be to have been able to be an astrophysicist 🤣

Well, all I can say is that only once have I shown my degree to someone during a job interview. The fact that you have a degree puts you in a different position than those who don't have one. Over the course of a professional career, you'll see that experience, stamina and good work ethic are primordial. Your degree is only an entry ticket. An important one, but an entry ticket all the same.

My advice to you is: keep studying and specializing in a field. It will pay off long term.

Enjoying time with my kids while they’re still tiny. I spend 95% of my day with them and make the most of it, but I’m sure in 10 years time I’ll look back on now and wish I’d done more.

I want to think that my attention is already on where it has to be... and for the most part that's actually true...

however, as you get older and older, life does like to remind you sometimes that you actually weren't paying full attention, lol...

one thing here or there.. can just pop-up and take you by surprise, so... I do wish and hope that I am actually paying attention indeed... lmao

No clue yet. Nothing I could do right now would significantly improve or degrade my life, or at least that's how it seems to be. Life is hell, but the heat level is pretty stable as of now, and the sporadic fluctuations are absolutely beyond my control...
