What unpopular truths does the opposite sex need to hear—even if they deny them?

I guess this first thing goes for both sexes, both ways around, that physical appearance does matter. As happy as it can feel to hear that appearance doesn't matter and we're all equally attractive it's just not the truth. There's a reason millions of people get expensive surgeries to look a certain way. There's also a reason a lot of people exercise with the goal of their body looking a certain way.

If we're talking something more specific though then I guess men need to hear that for a lot of women penis size does indeed matter. There's a reason society makes it such a big deal and why men with small penises are often insecure about it.

And then for women I guess they need to hear that a lot of men do indeed only care about sex and it can be hard to find a guy who is truly loyal. There's a lot of cases that even after a wife and kids the husband/father of the kids runs away to cheat with other women.
