i met this guy on yikyak and although we never shared pictures or exchanged social media or talked on call, we described to each other how we look. i lied about my appearance (i’m overweight and not conventionally attractive so i was insecure). i’m (18F) talking to a guy (21M). we started off with just sexting. we caught feelings for each other and are still talking (since January 2024). the thing is that initially in the beginning i didn’t give him my real name or which city i live in. slowly over time, these lies built up. i didn’t think we would even talk for more than a week but we still are. he knows my age, where and what i study, but i lied to him about my name, where i live, my ethnicity/nationality (i’m a woc), what my parents do, sibling, what i look like, and some of my outfits. i also told him i have an ex of 6 years who cheated on me (i was embarrassed i didn’t have any ex when he has 2-3). over time as we caught feelings for each other, he told me he would like to meet me (he’d fly to where i study), ask me out, date me for a couple of years and finally marry me and have a family with me. i think despite these lies we have a real connection- we talk about our dreams and ambitions, our feelings, our favorite music and movies, we talk about books, about our families, our problems, our achievements and pretty much everything. i’m the only person besides his mom who he has told about what he wants to do in the future. we talk most of the day and sleep together on spotify jam. i made him a playlist and he made me one. this weekend he asked me to make a playlist for us to sleep to. a week ago, i told him i loved him and he told me he loved me. i genuinely love this guy a lot and want to have a real relationship with him. should i tell him the truth? if so, how will he react? or should i just tell him i can’t meet because my parents don’t approve and let him go forever?

I've been on a few dates with this guy and after he rejected me saying he didn't really find me that attractive. Then i asked why would you go on 3 dates with someone you don't feel attracted to. He said because he is kinda attracted and he liked my personality so much and we clicked instantly so good he just couldn't let me go but he feels like he has to. We agreed to stay friends and still talk sometimes but not all the time anymore. I didn't reply to his last message (a long one we had a conversation going) i will give him some space and ask him whats up a couple of days later. When he rejected me he said that somehow this feels like a breakup to him because likes me so much.

I can't figure out what he meant okay if he is not attracted he still wouldn't have gone on 3 dates and talk for 2 months flirting constantly because if men lose interest they dont have the energy to talk 0-24 after that. Maybe something happened to him I don't know i thought everything was great. Now that i'm ignoring him will this push him away even more? Is there a chance for him to regret his decision and miss me?

It’s my 21 b day tomorrow and I have been literally talking about it for three months now, being one of those annoying people who count it down every day haha. Anyway today I got off work after working three doubles in a row absolutely wrecked but my boyfriend wanted us to go to the gym together. I initially said not but changed my mind last minute bc I knew I wanted to and I didn’t just want to lay around the rest of the day. Anyways we get to the gym and we beach off and do our own stuff, me occasionally checking on him ( 2 times) we go to refill our bottles and he randomly looks at me and says « you are the dullest person here right now » me because apparently me being super worn out but still trying to push through doing legs looked like I was being a drag even tho we weren’t even working out together 😐 being absolutely crushed I go sit in my car and cry while he finishes his workout. After we got home he first tried to defend himself but after I got out of the shower and he saw me crying lol he apologized. I really let it get to me tbh and let it kinda ruin my night. So while he was playing a game around 8 with his brother I texted him and said I wanted him to come lay down with me before it got too late so we could watch a movie and go wake me up if I was asleep because I was absolutely wrecked from work but still wanted to spend time with him and I also wanted him to stay up with me til 12 like a little kid I guess. Anyways he comes in around 10:30 and just lays in bed complaining how he is so tired from work and doesn’t say a single thing after that. I asked him if was upset and he replied « yeah I’m kinda annoyed you keep acting like "play with me talk with me" then tried to say he loved me and falls asleep. I guess I just wanted to know if this is even worth being upset about or I’m being a little (big now) kid hehe
