@coachTanthony I disagreed, a lot !!! Whether I am just naive or maybe something else.
Went on a blind date, with a woman that works in my Allstate agents office. We had sex on that date. The next day I sent her flowers and asked her out a second time... she told me that on the night we went out, when she got home, she had message from a prior lover and she wanted to go out with him to see if "there was anything still there" I said "Okay" since one night with sex, does not convey a 'relationship per se.
The "blind date" girl called me later and said the 'old flame' had fizzled and wanted to go out... I would have, but for having found another girl I went to college with. .
The point being: Even though we had sex on the first date, I had no reservations about going out with her afterward, even though she had seen the other 'old flame' in the interim. Some guys are just too insecure about other men I suppose... I liked the woman, and even though we had sex on a first date, that did not discourage me from seeing her again if Carla had not been in the picture.
P. S. A women 'friend' here in CA told me: "If I were you I would 'fuck 'em both, women do that all the time" I guess she was correct.
When you're in the dating phase before you're officially together as a couple, I believe it's an unspoken rule that WE KNOW we're dating other people, but you should keep what you're doing in the dating scene to yourself until you're official.
While I respect the girl's honesty, I can understand that it might paint a picture in the guy's head that "she's not sure about him and the date wasn't enough to solidify her opinion of him." Not many guys would be mature enough to to say "You know I really appreciate that honesty. And hey... we're not in a relationship as of yet, so it's not my place to tell you don't go." If he really likes her he could be slick and add something like "... but I do have to say I really enjoyed this and think I like you, so I can't deny that it'll be a shame if you choose the other guy."
I'm not sure. Isn't it normal to see multiple people when you're casually dating? Some people see it as the respectful thing to do, informing their date that they are actively dating non-exclusively so there are no crossed wires. But if she told him that to make him feel bad, then I'd say he's in the right.
I would say He is not in the wrong and the other thing is if these 1st dates nothing serious. I would personally not announce if I had plans later that day though I feel that it be better to not have more than 1 date a day just because what if you enjoy a person's company and decide to hang out longer?

Well, she's pretty dumb for telling her date that. I'm not sure it's a good idea to stop seeing her over this, especially if the date went well. You're not exclusive yet. So, no foul.
It’s 100% his choice. Men are finally waking up to value themselves. We’ve been telling women for generations that they don’t owe men anything. Well, men don’t owe women anything either. This is new though. Have you seen all the “sky is falling because men have standards and expectations now too” articles and videos? Ell oh ell!
It’s happening right here, on G@G. How will society survive if men aren’t subservient to women?
Good comment
I somewhat agree, if she can't even space the dates out enough to see if there is a connection, then why bother, you're just a number in the list of others and she's not serious.
I would definitely make another date with someone else regardless of the outcome of her second date. If she calls back, tell her I'm busy on another date.
What's good for the goose is good for the gander.
I think I would feel somehow... disrespected... lol
I would tell him I don't like it... and any decision based on his response...
making decisions based on assumptions is not the wisest way...
One thing we don't get in the UK about the American dating system is how you date several people at once until you decide to go steady with one. I think he did the right thing.
Totally and utterly disagree! There are plenty of fish in the ocean and when you decide to go on date with someone, you must understand to make it exclusive, you need to charm them, so they fall for you. And only you! My wife dated several guys simultaneously whilst dating me and when I won her over, she decided to focus solely on me and here we are today.
Why would she say such thing? She basically ruined her chances of seeing that guy ever again unless she did it on purpose to sabotage the date.
Definitely agree with him. He deserves better than a whore.
lol.
I agree with the man! If the woman was that stupid to mention the second date I doubt she has the brains any guy wants around for long.
It's his choice. I think it is fine he didn't want to go out with her again, if that isn't the kind of dating he wants to be involved in. I don't think I would want to date someone that goes on another date right after going on one with me either lol.
Now why would she have to open her big mouth and tell a man she has another date after he leaves.
She has a lot of class - and it's all LOW!
Fuck if I knew she was going on another date after the one I was on with her. I’d order me a shot of my boy Jack Daniel’s and I’d tell her that’s cool I don’t mind it’s not like you’re my girlfriend or anything. Then I’d excuse myself to go to the men’s room then I’d leave her ass there stuck with the bill.
She’s foolish for saying something in the first place.
@electromagnetic I don't think there's anything foolish whatsoever about a woman with whom I'm having dinner politely explaining that she's got a date with another guy immediately afterwards, and in addition to inquiring as to the possibility of paying for it, I'd also make sure that she arrived there safely, as well.
@Billlewis that’s because I’ve already group you as being crazy 😂
That’s his right but she has the same right. But he should have talked to her first. Told her how that made him feel.
I am with the guy on this one. I would drop her like that and fuck her best friend. It doesn't surprise me that you think that it is ok, when you think it is a good idea to talk to robots and obsess over alpha and beta nonsense
Who says I think it's okay? You have a learning disability or something don't ya? If so I apologize for whatever it is I have done to you.
I agree with the man, but only because she had the bad judgment to tell him what she was going to do. She should not have mentioned it. Her bad judgment makes her dangerous to be around.
Cannot answer... ultimately its up to him to choose. We all have different comfort zones.
Some things are better not mentioned up front.
She probably thought she was being "real" and the guy might commit to stop her going on the next date. But it obviously didn't
People can end things for whatever reason (s) they want.
Smart man.
Modern, feminist, hoe bag women.
I agree. I would see that as highly disrespectful.
if they had not agreed to date exclusively, then he should have no problem as he could do the same thing.
It's only a date, I wouldn't be upset and I have to get up at 4am for work anyway,,,
I disagree. He's afraid of competition
It seems like she had taken advantage of you
