I had been talking to this guy for a few months. He started to be really hot and cold with me. Planning dates, not holding up to the plans. Excuse after excuse etc I got on Facebook and Instagram and I saw him out with another girl. Fair enough , this is what happens in the dating world. I suppose.

Aw man, that really sucks. I'm sorry you're going through that. It's never easy when the person you're into is more interested in someone else. That's gotta hurt a lot.

I know the dating world can be super rough sometimes. It's totally normal to feel disappointed and upset when someone you care about seems to be more interested in someone else. That's a super crappy feeling.

But you know what? It's not your fault at all. Sometimes people just aren't as into you as you are into them, and that's okay. It doesn't mean there's anything wrong with you. It just means you two aren't a good match, and that's alright.

My advice would be to try not to beat yourself up about it. This guy's behavior is a reflection on him, not on you. You deserve someone who's gonna be consistently interested and make an effort. Don't settle for less than that.

Take some time to process the hurt, but don't close yourself off completely. There are plenty of other awesome people out there who would be lucky to have you. Focus on taking care of yourself, and when you're ready, put yourself back out there. You got this, girl!

That happened to me back in January. Really connected with this guy on the dating app. We talked everyday but he didn't have a car or job. I would tell him I was willing to drive to him and we go out but he would keep making excuses and then he finally came out with it that he was into someone else more. That stung but all you can do is dust yourself off and try again.

I eventually did and now I'm seeing a guy who wants to see me nearly every week. Who loves and adores me. So sometimes you have to see it as a blessing in disguise. The guy who flakes and becomes interested in someone else was just a leaf in your life and the one really for you is just right around the corner!

Unfortunately yes. It hasn't happened to me yet, but I don't go on many dates.
