Polls: Dating

These are just the slightly flawed ones in contrast to my ideal main ones. I know for a fact that they're definitely not at the bottom end of perceived attractiveness. These are actually very recent ones that people in my family took; only this time I didn't take many of them myself (besides the sushi one).

Some of the recent ones haven't reached 20 or even 10 votes yet. I will provide updates once all of them have reached 20. The results posted here are what have been written at the time of this posting. I set my voting cast on Photofeeler to females aged 18-24.

I want to know if you've been intentional about this: either hiding or making yourself look worse purposely in front of someone you find attractive. This could either be in person or online.

I know people are usually trying to show their best sides because most of us are not even that good looking or don't believe in our looks enough, but I was just curious.

I don't mean completely hiding obviously. Maybe like showing your worst pictures, wearing ugly clothes or makeup or something like that.

Quick Story Time Example:
On hinge, an online dating app, I saw this girl who I thought looked pretty, but I somehow found her on social media, and she definitely didn't use her good pictures, and to me, it was clear as day. I don't know if it's because she's genuinely unaware that these pictures are bad or if she was having one of the intentions I mentioned.
Please feel free to chime in on this example if you'd like to.

I think the best example of this would be long distance, not where you were already in long term relationship but maybe met on vacation, a work trip or something like that.

I've personally had some of these circumstances. I could be wrong, but I usually feel like we both leave each other better than when we found each other. According to the girls I've experienced this with, it's pretty exciting and fun for them, and they usually are more than happy to continue talking afterwards. However, after some time they are also usually the ones forcing the communication to die out. For example, ghosting. I'm not sure if it's because I come off a certain kind of way or if these are certain kinds of girls or if most girls are like this in these kinds of situations. Please share what you think.

To me it seems stupid, you shouldn’t have to fight or chase a girl. They’re not worth it.
