Notice nowadays when dating a lot of these girls want the world and giving very little back in return (if not anything at all).

Starting to wonder if there's any point of dating seriously anymore?

Me: My doctor says I should stay away from snacks, yet here I am talking to you

The older I get, the more I tend to want to focus more on the girl herself, without the distraction of an 'action-packed' date. I'm from New Jersey, but have a Small Town heart; so women under 35 usually think simple dates are for losers and just an excuse to be cheap... (one reason I've always dated older women). A girl that thinks romance HAS to be elaborate, but that will end things for me right there. What do women today really like?

I am in Indian man, 27 years old now, and I am most attracted to British White women. Due to Covid, I've been mainly persuing a long term relationship via dating apps such as Hinge. I've found it very difficult to match with white women, and have many matches with South Asian/ Indian women.

Is this a fundamental thing that white women usually go for white men?
And they are usually not attracted to Indian men?
Any advice?

So me and this girl met in the beginning of the year, we work together and things have been pretty cool. Recently things have warmed up between us and have been getting flirtatious, even other coworkers have caught on. I even overheard her talking to another female coworker about me (I’m pretty muscular). She’ll always ask me if I’m coming in the next day or when is she going to see me next.
One particular time I went to sit and talk with her after my shift (we’ve been doing that recently) and I heard her on video chat with someone else talking about maybe seeing them on the weekend. But then quickly dismissed them and hung up when I said yeah I think I’m gonna head out.
She said “When’s the next time I’ll see you?”
I just said hmm probably next week, I’ll catch you later and left.
This is what made me start to question things.
The next week I came in and I was intentionally being distant. One day, me, her and a few coworkers were sitting together so I brought up the idea of relationships. Just to investigate. During the conversation she claimed that she was single.
So I thought maybe I’ve just been overthinking things from the week prior.
Later I spoke with her alone and I told her that I feel me and her have a good connection and maybe we should go out sometime.
She told me that she wanted to be honest with me and that she actually had been dating someone for the past two months. She said she wants to be fair and give him a chance. But she also mentioned that it’s been hard to find someone who wants to commit.
I had no problem with it and I said it’s cool and I wouldn’t mind keeping things where they are at.
But now that a few weeks passed after that I’ve been friendly but also distant. Yet she’s been even more flirtatious with me, compliments about how I look, how I smell, including physical touching like rubbing my back or my leg. Getting even more personal with the conversation. Getting lunch together at work?
Some of this has me confused on her intentions.

I’m 23. Girls my age still are shy and expect the guy to approach and do ALL the work. I’ve wasted my time dating a few girls. Time I’ll never get back.

All have nothing to give. Harsh but true. I’m definitely an attractive guy. I may compliment a girl’s appearance but I never hear anything back.
I hear more from women 5 years older.

Like I’m a damn cool and fairly confident guy, I know my worth. I deserve better. I have more chemistry with girls I consider friends.
