Goal was 6k a month so I wouldn't be "broke". I'm in the phase now of figuring out how much i really want to make.
My mom told me to aim for at least 6k like 10 years ago lol. I was talking to a coworker earlier and as i get closer it's not satisfying enough. I love shopping, traveling and staying in nice places.
I just want to make enough to keep up with the things that i like.
    Still figuring things out.

Not live with my parents anymore. I didn’t get the chance to get a job for a long time due to medical complications, but it’s still extremely embarrassing to live with them as I reach my mid 30s… (I love them. I just want to be independent and a little “normal”.)

That’s great that you want to branch out on your own. Very mature.

Plus what if I’m still living with them when I fall in love again? “Want to come over to my parents’ place?” lol So embarrassing. I would have to hope that the fact that I’m trying would be enough.

You have a job. That’s the main thing. People living with family at an older age is far more common than you think.

I spent most of 2020 and 2021 trying to get my debt down and my credit score up while saving my money. So now in 2022 I am going to save more for the future by investing it, and also save a little for car repairs that may come up in the near future and buy myself a new "gaming pc".

My ''financials'' are merely a means to cover my living needs, and a little amount of extra wishes.
So my goal is to keep it flowing in gently and continuously.
To accumulate ''too much'' of it makes no sense to me.
