How “credit card” works?
It's a more flexible way of paying for something because you don't gotta pay it all at once but if you can't pay it it does mess with your credit rate which I don't know about other places but in the US it's important

The credit card company pays for things you buy. You pay them.

Let's suppose you see something expensive you don't really need and definitely can't afford. You can use a CC to buy it then pay back next month with interest when you can't afford to either.
