At what age did you joined playschool?

I joined playschool when I was of 2 years and 3 months. I was already clear with my words and spoke properly. I was pretty smart too and it was becoming difficult for my mom to pay attention to me and my new born sister so I joined school.

I never went to nursery school/preschool and went directly into kindergarten at age 5 (1965). My sister, who is 3 years younger, did attend some sort of preschool at age 30 or 4, the details are now lost to me.

I began school in kindergarten in September 1968 at age 5.
Kindergarten was a relatively new thing.
Preschool was uncommon then let alone any earlier schooling.
