What should I do concerning my career?

Hello.

I just graduated with my masters degree. My significant other attends the same school I just graduated from. He won't graduate until the end of 2024. I applied to take my board exam and getting ready to get licensed in my major. We want to move back to our home state once he gets his doctoral degree in 2025. I know on a resume it is not good to keep moving companies in short periods of time. Assuming I get licensed in October then get a job by November. Is that alright to change companies within 2 years of my first job with my degree to move back home? I am applying for the state license I am in once I pass the board exam and also our home state's license. I cannot move back to our home state without my significant other and I need a new car before I can move. My car won't make it over 1k miles on the road trip.

The decision to get a temporary job will not hold you back. Companies are well aware of people getting jobs during or just after school, and relocating is reason enough to apply for a new job. They won't hold this against you. The problem will be if you keep changing your job before relocating. If you work for a temp agency, your employer is the temp agency, so it doesn't matter how many assignments you are given. Just get the job and be supportive of your partner.

I did that…along with PT help in step-down unit…”nursing home” 20-22ish. Fun but difficult with that population. I almost went to PT grad school…

Big State hospitals when I was doing it is where lots of people went. What specific population etc…

Thats awesome. My significant other is currently in PT school. It is tough. I want to work with athletes but OT is new to sports and not sure how to get into working with athletes. I have been an athlete my entire life. I used to swim against Olympians. I was in an inpatient hospital setting and that was fun. I am really good with cognitively declining people and stroke and shoulder injuries.

You would have loved where I was then. There were also a few bed sore drop in bath people. The dementia and some Alzheimer responded to touch. Many of them woukd do or try anything for touch and company. Overtime, there was more counseling involved than I ever imagined…. I was university scholarship soccer, btw….
It sounds like you two combined in a Business would fit an orthopedic referral System well. One of the OT guys made shoes work better. He is a cobbler now basically…. made killing of arthritis and baby boomers 💰 👞 👞👞💰
