Are there any type of Agricultural Courses?

By courses, I mean short courses that take between 4 to 6 months.

and would I get any Important knowledge by taking such courses!

I believe that Agriculture will always be vital and most people who work in this field have a space for freedom and a getaway from the Capitalist Market, well at least they do from where I’m from.

If you want to study online and are thinking about tree surgery, you may want to start by learning pruning basics. The California Rare Fruit Growers Association is a good source for information. You can put CRFG pruning into your browser to locate articles and videos. One thing many people aren't aware of is how to get a tree to branch out rather than up. When you prune an upright branch that has a branch growing off to the side, if you prune right above that side branch, the side branch will grow longer. If you prune below the side branch, you'll end up with many branches heading upward from the cut.

Yes, there are some schools that have a great ag program.
I know the UW Madison used to have what was called a short course, not sure if they still offer it or not.
Some of the local tech schools might offer something like that as well, just check around.

Rather than a general agriculture course you might be better off looking for something more specific such as learning to drive agricultural vehicles. Sheep shearing is another good one especially if you fancy working abroad,( some companies will pay your airfare).
The best money is in working in the support industries such as tree surgery or anything maintenance wise. Slaughter houses pay very good money and the hours are good.

Not online. They tend to be practical-based. I'd look at jobs in your country and what specific qualifications and licenses they ask for. Remember they want them for insurance and legal reasons. I wouldn't bother with soil studies, the laboratories that do it tend to train their own staff.

Some of the colleges here teach Food Justice which teach the importance of agro ecology. Check with your local schools and even small farms that are not corporate owned.
