ENTJ-A : this seems pretty accurate, but then again, the results came from me answering a bunch of subjective questions about what I believe my qualities to be.

I feel like I fluctuates sometimes though, I don't always want to be socializing or partying, for example. I do love people and enjoy my connections with others, but I also enjoy my solace and time spent alone, for example. I also don't always have to be the center of attention, and have taken to intentionally "wall flowering" myself sometimes just to observe and have a different experience.

Yeah, it’s true. The results are only as accurate as the answers we provide. unfortunately, any test that consists of just multiple choice questions without the ability to provide open-ended responses may struggle with validity.

I’m also of the opinion that myself and probably a lot of other people are not restricted to behaving consistently. We all have the potential to be judging AND feeling, introverted AND extroverted, &c. I personally enjoy stepping outside of “the box” and trying on a different approach.

basically, i'm older and have so much more experience that i come to conclusions based on my subconscious doing the work so my conscious mind didn't have to do ANOTHER analysis... because i've do so many already.

I read about it. And one thing that made me sure for your personality not being suitable for me is this sentence, "Nothing lights up Advocates like changing someone else’s life for the better.".

I am rarely affected by anyone else. Let alone what is going on in their life. I am completely indifferent to other people's life.

Hence, I find that your result is not suitable for me.

I think about that too. I find myself feeling very out of place in the world a lot, because I am a very deep person. Most people I know are out at concerts, drinking at happy hours, and making decisions that seem reckless. They seem satisfied with superficial relationships with others and don’t think twice about posting pictures online. I’d rather have no friends to socialize with (which I don’t) and entertain myself with thought experiments than have friends I don’t relate to on a deep level. I also value my privacy above everything. The personality type is certainly at times a blessing and at others a challenge given how uncommon it appears to be.

Accepting ourselves and being a fully functioning human in society can be challenging, no matter what type of personality we may have.

It can certainly be helpful to be aware of our different personalities in order to accept ourselves and others.

My first exposure to evaluation of personality types took place many years ago by invitation from a good friend to a seminar on personality types at a church sponsored event.

I was extremely reluctant to attend, but afterwards I was thrilled to find that my eyes had been opened, so to speak.

The results of that seminar led me to a life-long interest in the differences among people and psychology in general.

These days, such evaluation can quickly be done with online tests, though they leave us seeing only our own evaluations.

Having had my initial personality evaluation taking place in an auditorium filled with people seeking a way of 'titling' their own personality types, there was great opportunity in the sharing of our personality types with the other attendees during the 'after-evaluation' period of social interaction at the event. I found that the social sharing was much more enlightening than sitting alone at a computer discovering my personality type. It was a very socially bonding experience with my fellow human beings.

I'd recommend doing so to anyone.
