Do you feel that how we educate children in schools fully prepares them for work?

Speaking for the United States it does not. And that includes college and university. We way over index on things that most people don't need and egregiously under index on others. Among other things, not everyone needs geometry or algebra, let alone physics and chemistry. But how much better off we would all be if there was a half year class in critical thinking and mandatory full-year classes in civics. Likewise, although I love literature and reading, we'd be a better society if we taught more technical writing and writing that students will use in the job world. We should be teaching art appreciation, not art itself for those who don't want it. Etc. We should be working backwards from living and working in a 21st century society and educating toward that rather than using a system designed a very long time ago.

No a the reality is school is there to teach theory. Even stuff we learnt goes out the windows as soon as we graduate. School teaches us how how to retain and omit information. We doesn’t study or learn for content but to apply on a test. Work isn't like that. There is no test. Everything is practical and you do as your told. To deal with real people with real problems and real money with no retest on consequences.

No it doesn't, especially if the go on to college/university the work ethic is not inculcated anymore because it is too 'White' and part of the 'Patriarchy', also they are no longer taught how to budget which leads to the size of the loans they take out as they cannot look far enough ahead to see how much those loans are going to cost them with the compound interest added.

This is a case by case basis. Schools at least try to. But with all the garbage being pushed in some areas… Lowesr scores on everything. Kids can’t even read at a basic level or so basic math.
