The biggest learned, in Business context, lesson is that serving those greater and enhancing their Situation is the way to do life.
Living on the coat tails of such people are much more lucrative than trying to reinvent the existing wheel, yourself. No man or woman is self-made, alone.

You have this in the education and career category so I'm going to answer from the perspective of those areas and, specifically, career. I have two:

• There's always more to the story. Keep asking questions.
• Be nice to people. Even the mean one.

Don’t be lazy in having and planning personal goals for yourself. Having goals helps keep you happy especially when you complete them
