Should I become an actor or become a personal support worker (PSW)?

I am working as an extra now. I paid minimum wage but if I become an full union, my pay doubles. I don't get much call. but it's enough. I was thinking of becoming an actor. but I don't know. I was also thinking becoming an PSW. I can help sick people or elderly. what should I do? I thought that acting is my destiny but these day, people only watch YOUTUBE. do you think dreaming of becoming actor is outdated?

If becoming an actor is your dream, go for it. But you have be willing to face a lot of rejection, that's hardest part of the industry. There are some very talented actors out there, but most can't stick it out, because the rejection, is to hard to handle.

But I would suggest get acting lessons, you are really serious about, just doing extras, will not help you progress. All the Hollywood actors started out like you. Tom cruise started like you.
