Is America success of English people?

Is the US a success or result of British people? I mean if US owned itself to one country/race, wouldn't UK the biggest reason?

The USA was founded on British law, Christian values, and a desire for freedom. So while the country began as a major English influence it’s since been a melting pot of multiple cultures from around the world. The diversity in the USA is a strength and today it’s not solely due to a once powerful British empire.

Race? Do you mean homo sapien? No, it was not one group that made the country what it is, it is a different attitude than what causes Europe to destroy itself with wars.
