In high school I worked at my school's snack bar.

As a freshman in college, I worked in catering.

Similar to the other question you asked: do your research. Most college (tuition, dorm, food) is REALLY hard to pay for, even with a job. Run the numbers really carefully.

cut grass at a few neighbor's houses.
We were out in the sticks, so there weren't many/any jobs.
I worked a lot on my Grandfather's farm, but didn't get paid.
It was pretty much expected.
