Hey, I'm a 20 year old English language and literature student. Actually I didn't want that but I started studying this due to misdirections. Sitting like this and just learning about British authors and poets is killing me.
I'm obsessed with chemistry and wanted to be chemist but my chemistry teacher said that i will never be able to find a job in my country as a chemist. So he talked to me and told me to study in language field since I know 3 languages. I accepted and I was just 16, so I was confused.
But now I wanna do anything about chemistry, physics, mechanical, astronomy etc etc. (And art too, but art was so easy to put into practice. So i did it.) And I can't stop thinking about those. I even have some invention ideas but don't know how to do them. And I shared one of my ideas with my med student friend. I said that this invention might be useless. And he said "no really, do you know that this invention can contribute to the ability of physically disabled people to walk again." I didn't believe him at first but then he explained how it works.
So yeah I have ideas for the world but don't know how to do them. I'm gonna lose my mind bc of thinking so much about those. What should I do? Please give me advices guys.
(by the way this question is not a troll question. I bet some people will think its a troll)

What country do you live in and let's see what we can do to help you from there. If you want, PM me, but I think we can help you, but we need to know more about you and your situation.
I live in turkey and how can you guys help me?
You should attend college in the United States, if possible.
I've known a few Turks while I went to Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute which is just the sort of school that you'd want to attend for the things that your are interested in.
I'm not sure if my family would accept me to study abroad. And I never shared my ideas with family. And tbh I know turkey will reject my ideas so that's why I stopped sharing my ideas and attending science competitions. Turkey is just a funny country. I was 14 and I was creating crystals and other things with chemicals in lab on my own and the teacher was just watching me and other students. but the year I attented, olive fork project won the competition lol. I was shocked and complained about it to my chemistry teacher. He just said "this is turkey, dear." Aahh I don't know what to do
But I can't do this project on my own. i need experts too :( this will be so hard
Go here:
en.wikipedia.org/.../Category:Turkish_women_scientists
On that webpage will be listed many Turkish female scientists. Consider learning about them to see which of them studies in the areas that you like. Then, consider sending an email or letter to her seeking her advice. Especially, if any of them is a university instructor, she may be willing to help you come to her university and take you on as a student.

What if it doesn't work?
Also, if you DO send an email to one of these Turkish female scientists, consider including the URL to this very question so that she can sense the exasperation that you feel and see the passion in your heart.
In the United States, there is "The United Negro College Fund" (UNCF; uncf. org) that exists to help Black students in the US to get support and funding to go to college/university. The UNCF famously ran advertisements on television soliciting donations. Their famous and very memorable slogan is "A mind is a terrible thing to waste."
I can't help but think of this in your case and it breaks my heart that I cannot help more.
Almost certainly, one or more of those Turkish female scientists will be happy to help you.
Why?
Because THEY WERE YOU when they were young.
Trust me on this.
Yeah no money to support science in turkey. People with great projects go to countries that support their projects because in turkey they can't get financial support here.
So yeah I'll contact with those scientists and see if I really can make my project. Thank you!
YES THEY WERE ME!
And f.. the government. I'm 20 and there isn't anything bad I haven't seen in this country.
OK, I have to stop typing "Turkey" and start using "Türkiye"...
In Türkiye, the percentage of women who are engineers and scientists is growing and is above the EU average, so there is support for women in Türkiye to pursue STEM careers.
(STEM = Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics)
I just sent an email to Canan Dağdeviren. She's a famous physicist
Great! I majored in physics when I was your age 40 years ago...
Woah! God sent you to me sir! I have questions and my project includes physics too
LOL... I graduated with my BS in physics about 2 weeks after Canan Dağdeviren was born. It's nice to see she is doing well at MIT and I hope she can give you good advice.
Good luck, young lady!
I sent you request please help me :(
I am happy to help you with whatever I can. Keep in mind, I got my BS in physics in 1985... Right now, I am an avionics systems engineer.
Thank you! Okay let's talk on DM. this world can't handle a 2nd nikola tesla case
Sir, is there any way to deactivate the gravity in a field for a while? I'm searching but I can't find. And if I find answer of this question, believe me I would finish 50% of my project
No no not deactivating. Like decreasing the gravity. Is it possible? And how to do it
I will reply later but if I forget remind me.
Okay thanks!
In short, no you really can't manipulate gravity, but you can change how it influences you.
Need to find a way to decrease it
Then you need to go into space.
WHY do you need to decrease it?
For my machine
That doesn't help me.
Let me put it to you like this.
Gravity is everywhere and it exists because of matter. If something exists, it exerts gravity.
YOU exert gravity.
The more mass you have, the more gravity you create.
The gravity all around us is predominantly because of the Earth.
If you want less of that gravity, you have to move away from the Earth... that is, "go up". The farther up you go, the less gravity from the Earth there is.
Now, it can seem like there's no gravity like in the International Space Station... Oh, there's gravity there alright and it's almost as strong as it is here on the surface of the Earth. The reason it seems like there is no gravity is that a little complicated to explain...
Suppose you have a tennis ball and hold it high above your head and let go...
Then, the ball falls down to the ground.
Now, imagine you throw the ball horizontally. What happens? The ball travels horizontally but is also traveling vertically falling down at the same time. In a few moments, the ball hits the ground.
But, now, suppose you could throw that ball even faster... It will go further but hit the ground in the same amount of time...
NOW, imagine throwing the ball extremely fast - several 1000 miles an hour...
What happens?
Well, the ball is going very far very fast, but it is still falling and would hit the ground in the same amount of time as the other times your threw the ball more slowly...
EXCEPT...
In THIS case, you've thrown the ball so far so fast the ground isn't there anymore! Because the Earth is curved, the ball actually flies even further and needs more time to before gravity will make it hit the ground.
OK, NOW, you throw the ball SOOOOOOOOO fast that the ball never has a chance to hit the ground.
In that case, the ball is orbiting the Earth.
And that's what's happening with the International Space Station, satellites, the Moon... They are all moving so fast horizontally that they don't hit the ground because the ground is simply not there anymore because of the curvature of the Earth.
Now, inside the space station, the whole thing is falling at the same rate! Therefore, INSIDE the space station, it doesn't seem like there's any gravity...
======
OK, well, depending on what your "machine" is, maybe it would work on the space station, maybe not. I have no idea what it does or how it would be made.
One other thing that is important to know but too complex to discuss is that, inside the space station, that's a significant "non-inertial reference frame" so the laws of mechanics may give non-intuitive results... like floating around in a space station, despite plenty of gravity all around.
Thank you so so much for your answers they helped me! And I decided to just learn more about science instead of making stupid machines hahahah
Maybe this song is for you!

😁😁
Best get busy, lol.
I always have time. I don't sleep too much. Max 6 hours. And I have a talent, I can spend max 2 and half days without sleeping lol so I have so much time
Yeah, and after 60 hours, I start to hallucinating. That's why I don't stay up more than 60 hours
Well, that would sure help, and good luck on your adventure.
I asked how I can do those :(
