I'm a software dev working in computer graphics for use in film, TV, video games, etc. My biggest credit is working on the film, Avatar, although just as a software dev creating in-house software for the film (the animators did all the real magic).

  I have days where I absolutely love it and you have to tear me away from the computer and then other days where I'm like, "Ugh." It comes and goes for me. My least favorite part of the job is fixing bugs, especially bugs in other people's code. My favorite is when I get to feel creative and come up with a new design.

I work as a civilian for a major police service. Lots of computer work, assisting officers, adding information to the Canada wide computer system. Dealing with the public. And most importantly petting the police dogs.
