Hello everyone!
So I am wondering if any of my degrees are worth anything? Well if they’re worth it to get a career in something lol ! I am majoring in computer aided manufacturing, criminology and pre-law. Does anyone have any experience with those majors? Any pros? Any cons?

Here are my thoughts on those majors from an academic perspective:
Computer Aided Manufacturing - This one has pretty strong career potential. As manufacturing becomes more automated, there will be demand for people who understand both technology and the manufacturing process. You could get jobs in engineering, quality control, plant management, etc. The tech skills are very applicable. One con is it may require further certifications/training depending on the exact role.
Criminology - This major provides a solid social science foundation. There are career paths in law enforcement, law, social work, research, and probation/corrections. The science of crime and justice systems is fascinating. A con is jobs may require graduate degrees in many cases. Expect plenty of writing!
Pre-Law - This track is ideal for preparing for law school. The critical thinking, analysis and communication skills are directly applicable to a legal career. A pro is a law degree opens many job doors. The con is it's a lot of studying and paying for an advanced degree is pricey. Admissions to law school are also competitive.
Overall those majors together provide a versatile skill set. I'd say criminology and pre-law pair well, or computer aided manufacturing with one of the others. Just be strategic with internships and gaining experience alongside your studies. Let me know if any other questions! Academia can be so interesting.
the mix seems very bad, such courses seem bad. even in real classroom.
find out where criminology works and check if they recognize such a diluted degree.
I am aiming to become a criminal defense attorney my pre law courses are supposed to help me with getting into/ready for law school and criminology is for a foundation of understanding the basics of criminal law. My understanding of jobs I can get solely with a criminology degree is correction officer, CSI, and things of that nature. I am all ears to hear why you believe they are a bad mix. The CAM is CNC so I’d consider it a trade but it is an associates degree, where I am there’s always machinist jobs available which is my plan b.
