English and some sign language.
I HAVE TO TELL YOU ALL THIS STORY THAT HAPPENED TO ME. PLEASE READ IT AND BRING THE TISSUES IN CASE YOU CRY.
I don't know very much sign language but I saved a man's life from the little bit I do know.
This poor guy was outside waiting for his ride to take him home from the hospital. He was in a wheelchair, no legs and deaf mute (he couldn't talk or hear).
I was outside on a bench and saw he was in distress. So I went over to him and signed to him do you need help? He shook his head yes. He kept pointing to the hospital and up a few floors.
My Spidey senses kicked in, and I figured out there was something still up in his room he needed.
As it turned out, when I pushed him back to his room, his bag with all his diabetic medicines to take home were still just sitting there. He grabbed the bag and pulled it to his chest and held it and rocked it like it was a baby.
I went by the nurse's station and they said if he's not downstairs he will miss his ride. I said to them he might have gotten this rude home but he would have died without his medicine. And I said a few more choice words to them that I won't repeat here. But I chewed them out pretty good! It was their job to make sure he had his meds to take home.
He told me that's how he ended up in the hospital in the first place - he ran out of meds.
He thanked me profusely. I was so glad I knew some sign language and just the words that he understood me signing saved his life.
I guess his Spidey senses kicked in too to be able to understand my sign language.
I felt as if God had him and I in the same place at the same time and he got to live 🙂 and my heart was so warm because I helped another human being.21 Reply- Asker11 mo

I'm fluent in American English, and almost fluent in other English dialects: British, Australian, South African English. I can get by in French and Spanish, make myself known in German, and can count in Russian and Mandarin Chinese. All this learned during my career that involved working with people in several other countries.
Most importantly... I can order a beer in 7 languages.

I speak English (obvs 🙄 ), I speak a little Hebrew (very little), and I speak some French, some Spanish, and a little German. Not much, but enough to find the nearest bathroom or library! Okay a BIT more than that, but Iโm hardly fluent. Oh and Iโm fluent in Australian, New Zealander, and Canadian. 😜

Pretty sure the southern border issue is only Spanish. Although many have already been around for generations. Maybe a bit of Portuguese. If you want to be an economic engine and global superpower, those are the breaks.
I can speak Turkish, Kurdish, English and Arabic, as well as Korean and Japanese, but only a little.
