Here's how I got people to form up real quick with me. I would ask them a question and they would give me a sarcastic response. Then I would ask "to clarify, you DO or DO NOT want me to _____?" That usually takes care of the problem, but sometimes the person stills wants to difficult.

If the person wants to be difficult, then I take their answer literally (within reason, of course). And if they start giving me shit I'll just "you said ____; I'm just doing what you told me."
