Can't say I ever really "looked up" to a teacher, but there is one teacher that I really liked. In sixth grade (last year of elementary school) I had several different teachers because there was a lack of teachers for my grade, and there was only one that was really well liked by the whole class. Her name was Mrs. McNutt (yes, that was her real name). Anyway, she was this nice, wholesome, soft-spoken, middle-aged woman, and she was never too strict with us. She humored us, for the most part. We loved her. But after a few months, the school hired a new teacher and Mrs. McNutt was let go for the rest of the year. We HATED our new teacher, and maybe she didn't deserve all the hate, but some of the shit she would try to pull was fucking ridiculous. We all wanted Mrs. McNutt back, and she did come back the following year to teach second grade. She was actually my brother's teacher that year, so I still got to see her somewhat often.
