Struggling financially: what are realistic side hustles for extra income?

What do you know how to do? Most things that people do for employers can be done on the side.
If you don't have any special skill that is easily marketable, try mowing lawns on the weekend. You could bring in a few hundred dollars per weekend.
You could also try odd jobs on people's houses. Anything from trimming bushes to gutter cleaning, and maintenance if you have the skill and tools.
If you have any marketable computer skills, there is a lot of stuff you can do from home.
Then there is stuff like Uber, or delivery service. You can deliver pizzas. In my opinion those are mostly short term jobs since the cost of car upkeep starts adding up if you do it long.
Also check temp agencies. They will have a limited amount on the weekends, but if you are reliable and show up on time, you should start getting steady work after a while.
Dog sitting, mornings at a gym as a cleaner or counter person. Join a obernight cleaning service, customer service work from home jobs, dog sitting, hair braiding, consulting, delivery driving.
If you have a reliable and dependable car, Lyft, Uber, Ubereats, or Doordash. I used to work for Doordash and made quite a good bit of money doing only that.
How much was quite a bit? Did you just get the money from tips, or from the delivery too?
I got the majority of my money from tips. It would be anywhere from $20-100 in the well to do areas. Which is where I mostly doordashed. The pay was over $150 a day if I did it for more than 5 hours.
So if I did it 7 days a week that's well over $1000 a week
That is not chicken feed, but how much did you spend in gas and vehicle upkeep?
I had a 2012 Pruis so not much. Maybe $35-40 a week. The upkeep cost $200-250 every visit.
If you need to ask this anonymously on a website like Gag, it will probably never happen. Find a better job.

But there's gonna be a lot of competition with wealth inequality being what it is and the US economy circling the golden toilet bowl.
The delivery gig economy is booming these days, but I have no idea as to how lucrative it might be.
My guess, though, is that the coordinating companies are the biggest winners in that realm.
If you have to ask you aren't smart enough to side hustle.
