If your goal is to live and work abroad (especially in Scandinavia), your priority should still be:
1. Improve English first
It’s the main gateway for jobs, visas, universities, and also for later learning Japanese/Chinese or a Scandinavian language.
2. Then add a target-country language
For Scandinavia: Norwegian, Swedish, or Danish will be much more useful than Japanese or Chinese.
3. Japanese vs Chinese
- Learn Japanese if you love Japanese culture, anime, games, or want to work with Japan.
- Learn Chinese (Mandarin) if you’re interested in business, trade, or global opportunities.
Choose based on passion, but don’t pause your English.
