It’s a short, but it’s adequate to get the gist. I haven’t dug around for more yet because i was anxious to share it. I feel like it’s going to stir up some controversy here. Ell oh ell!
I think it’s adorable and i’m tickled that some people are still prioritizing etiquette for ladies!

It's sad that their parents hadn't taught then that by that age.
Very mixed feelings. Not something I think should be taught in the public schools. My daughter attended a very selective girl's school in the US, and this was not part of the curriculum. In the US this is mostly over. I expect it's taught in Cotillion classes but very few young women attend.
This is not a “public” skool in the sense that you’re inferring, i think. I would be interested to know if they receive public funding at all myself.
This video is from The Inside-Out School of Etiquette. If you want to look it up and learn more.
I wholly disagree with you about the importance of etiquette. Simple manners, respect and social awareness is deplorably lacking in the US. More people should be learning these things, not less. You share the world with other people. You should offer them the same respect you demand, and that’s exactly what these lessons teach.
Etiquette is very important. Consider table manners for example. There are good reasons for rules like "Keep your elbows off the table", "Don't talk with your mouth open", and others, and they all involve respect for other diners. Similarly for saying "please" and "thank you", waiting your turn, and other polite behavior.
Teaching modesty to girls hits me differently. It feels a bit like purity culture. But some of it is simply moving gracefully, and can also be taught to boys.
