but in USA western Asians, middle easterns and north Africans are legally considered white.

@Nonfrivolous You are right, they might not consider them "white" but the Armenians are true Caucasoids. Especially if you look at geography, armenia is adjacent to caucus mountains and in some parts caucus mountains overlap with armenian nation.

I dont think that "non-white" sentiment about southern Europeans is as strong as it used to be.
I think most people are beginning to have a less Pan-European sentiment and viewing Europe and western asia for what it is, extremely diverse, with many different, distinct ethnic groups.
