Do you agree with China and their opinion on Shang Chi?

This always makes me laugh. Its a movie. At the end credits it always says "this is a work of fiction". The Chinese have way bigger fish to fry than worrying about the implications of mediocre comic book movies.
Besides, with the Chinese Communist Party's track record, their credibility isn't remotely good enough to where their opinion on a Disney cash grab is in any way relavent.
It feels like racial brownie point farming tbh.
Anyone who says otherwise I'm fucking korean an Asian person and I don't like Shan Chi Sure I"m not chinese but the thing is Shang Chi is suppose to represent Asian power. I see it as just facade a racial empowering that flat out is unnecessary. Asians already know we got power ourselves we don't need to see it in a fictional movie what almost what 90% of martial arts come from our side of planet earth.
Even Brazilian Jiu Jitsu was created from taking aspects from JAPANESE martial arts.
It was created for sorely just that for, but I do love martial arts though.
Where could I watch it?
I try checking it out
The stunts and martial arts in iare from all over not just from the movies origin which is chinese. There are some movements that are clear as day originate from like Japan and Korea and from other South East Asian countries. Probably the only like Asian movie to like showcase the full diversity of self defense in my opinion. And yes some of it is fictional but done in a way that respects like the legends of self defense. Its like actual good combat. None of that 3 hit and done fighting that American and some japanese movies do its actual combat. Which is hard to make it look authentic.

I'm not sure how much weight on things banned should be put on the opinions of a country that banned Winnie the Pooh.
On the other hand, they're not wrong. Shang Chi did start out as a racist stereotype, even if he has grown beyond that since then.
I don’t know China’s opinion but O don’t understand how having an Asian guy who is really good at martial arts is supposed to be some kind of groundbreaking hero. Isn’t that every Asian hero since Bruce Lee?
It really is, I don't understand how that is breaking a stereotype most Asian movies and anime has martial arts.
I don't like china, but I love the country's ideology. I hope that in the next 10 years, many countries will be governed by this regime. 🤲🏼🤲🏼🤲🏼 ameeen!
Not ideology, regime
I have no idea what their opinion is nor do I care.
It's all over the internet you can go on YouTube and see what Chinese has against this superhero.
The movie looks terribly generic, maybe the Chinese Communist Leaders should fight the Rotten Tomatoes Critics Cult that would be a fun movie.
What opinion is that? I'm sorry I just see some stupid chink and Marvel sucking CCP's COCK!
What’s their opinion?
China doesn't like the actor and they are boycotting the actual character for racist description of China
That Shang Chi is another Asian Kung Fu character and I had heard his father is supposed to depict Chinese as villains while Americans are heroic.
I ain't exactly Asian or Chinese so I obviously don't know but you can do some research and see all of Chinese complaint of Shang Chi.
What are China opinions?
They don't like the actor of the movie, plus the chinese are ranting about the creation of Shang Chi and they don't like the martial art approach.
He's just the diversity hire Iron Fist.
