Folks in other countries or continents, how do you find new music to enjoy?

Here in the US, we have always enjoyed various public radio stations that were member supported rather than the commercial stations. My husband has discovered so many awesome artists and bands and we have even been to a few concerts. We never would’ve found out about these artists had it not been for the public radio and from time to time checking concert announcements from different venues.

I use Apple Music about 99% of the time. I have the subscription so I can listen to whatever songs I want. I can get songs from their entire catalog or search for songs the easiest.

For example, I do like a lot of American artists. Easiest to get them through that. Also, my SO being from another country expands what we can get even more since his subscription is linked to his home country.

That seems like a good method! I don’t spend a whole lot of time seeking out music myself, but I think we do have an apple subscription. My husband seems to find lots of cool new music on one of the local stations that is publicly supported. It has programming based on music type and changes every couple of hours.

@emiliamazing I have one other secret weapon. @Agape93 will often send me links to songs. She has chosen a theme song for me.

Living in a smaller town there is only one local radio station, so we listen a lot to Sirius XM radio in the car as well as stream a lot of free Spotify playlists on Google Home speakers.

Usually I search YouTube for popular song and then filter the ones I like... works most of the time
