Would you eat the pizza?

I recently watched an episode of one of my favorite childhood cartoons Spongebob Squarepant. Spongebob and Squidward were tasked to deliver pizza. Along the way they got lost in the middle of nowhere. Not knowing how long they would be there and being hungry, Squidward suggested they eat the pizza, but Spongebob wouldn't let him. If you were in this situation, would you eat the pizza? And if so, what would you do if the customer tried to sue you for eating their pizza lol?

I wouldn’t eat water soaked pizza but I would eat it if it was too late for the customer and I was hungry and lost
