Why do you think people have crushes or admiration to celebrities?

I mean celebs are people that we will never ever meet in real life, not even for friends, acquantances, dating with, they are like off limits, picky and they won't lower their high celeb status to date a Joe or Jane Doe/there are few exceptions, I clarify), therefore they unapproachable, unreachable people for normal ordinary people like you and me and still people have crushes on them. I mean some crushes go to the extreme of people get upset when a celeb dates, or gets married or has a new girlfriend/boyfriend (like any other regular Joe or Jane who happens to do the same: date, have girlfriend/boyfriend commit get married and have family), at the end cele bs and us mortals or ordinary common Jane or Joes, are plain human beings, they are flesh and blood like us, they have feelings, they cry, they are happy,, they are sad, they suffer, they also have health issues, they have friends, they go to trips, among many other things celebs do or are, just like any Joe or Jane.

What is the diference to have a crush on a celeb than to a regular Joe or Jane, who also can't be off limits to us? I mean there are also Janes or Joes who are also attractive, sexy, popular and gorgeous, with money, who are not celebs but also could be unapproachable, and off limits to us but celebs have something in particular other regular joes or janes with money and popularity do not have and people have more crushes on them and people want to know EVERYTHING about that celeb.

What is the the particular thing that sets the difference between a real celeb (actresses, actors, famous musicians, athletes) and a ordinary Jane or Joe?

I can't help but have a huge crush on Henry Cavill. Looking at his pictures, especially from his younger days instantly turns me on. I love daydreaming about him. Knowing that he did in fact have relationships with non celebrity women only adds to his charm. Looking at his pictures is the easiest way for me to feel happy. According to me his face is like a beautiful work of art. Every facial feature is perfect. His body is also hot but I don't need to even look at his shirtless pics. He also has a pleasant personality and voice to match. I have watched all of his interviews, movies etc. He is the epitome of British masculinity and hotness. His accent is so pleasant, I could listen to him all day. He likes curry and has said only good things about my culture. Lucky women get a chance to love him.
Many people think that we're attracted to the fame and money but I imagine him as a handsome regular guy. I fantasise about being his girl. Even that is enough to make me feel good. I admire him like a teenager. I will never actually get to know him but Albert Einstein has said "Imagination is more important than knowledge. Knowledge is limited. Imagination encircles the world". I will never know what he thinks about me still in my head we're always kissing ❤💕🥰 Just look at him omg

I think your expectation of celebs is too high. Many of us have met them in real life even if it was just due to a backstage VIP pass. And i do know some celebs who date regular folks instead of another celeb model/actor/musician/etc. At the end of the day, they are regular people too. They just make more money and get more attention and a greater ego boost. I find certain celebs hot bt I dont idolize them. there's nothing wrong with crushing on one. Its hardly any different from crushing on the most popular guy/girl in school who was way out of your league with a 1% chance that they’d ever choose you over someone else popular. And yes many popular people did go for someone who wasn't on the same level of popularity

People crush on a celebrity's appearance. They are handsome/beautiful, in great physical condition, are well groomed, and wear glamorous clothing. So people experience physical attraction to certain celebrities.

People also a crush on the celebrity's public persona. They often fall in love with them because of a character they played in a movie. Some people think the celebrity is just like the character they played. In reality, they know nothing about the celebrity's attitudes and behaviors in real life.

It's normal to admire certain celebrities. They embody aspects of our personal ideals. But it's loony to actually be in love with someone just because you love them on screen. Because what you see is artificial. You are being sold a product.

Actors and actresses appear in roles that are interesting to people, and are often the kind of person (in the role) that the person would love to be with. Hence, a crush.

Musicians and singers present an aura of greatness that, again, people would like to experience. Hence, a crush.

It's a nice fantasy to have, plus it helps that celebrities tend to be hot so more people will like them based on that alone. Sometimes, since the celebrity is going to be more available than the average person, you feel like you know them without putting the effort of friendships and dates and etc.

After personally I usually have crush on Athlete and not so much actor or singer but I also have crush to people in real life though I'm not really gonna ask out my butcher that would be so awkward.

Its similar to why we come to like songs we didn't like when we first heard them, we hear them over and over, maybe in an IG reel maybe the radio (if people still listen to radios!). When we see/hear something over and over, we grow used to it and eventually fond of it and start to grow feelings towards it.

Because they are living in a fucking fantasy land inside their heads and not living in real life. They like the cool factor, or the bullshit celebrity status. The only thing that really sets celebrities apart is that everybody knows who they are and most people act impressed by them.
