Do you find it hard to understand songs’ lyrics?

Sometimes, it’s hard for me to understand what lyrics the singers is singing in their music videos.

I have the same experience. I can understand a few words within each sentence but not enough to find the song via lyrics and sometimes not enough to understand what it's about. I can easily play some of my favorites songs in my head but I haven't been able to find them online. Shazam couldn't find a few and others I didn't have time for Shazam to detect it.

All the time. I can understand some of the lyrics but some are indecipherable. I'm usually surprised when I look up the lyrics.

When I was a rock guitarist and vocalist, it was really hard to figure out the lyrics unless you bought a song book or something. A lot of times I just faked the words I wasn't sure of.

It sure is nice to be able to look them up on-line now. :-)

I’m the same way, especially with rap. I’ve realized there are some songs I like but I mostly have no idea what they say. Only thing I can figure is some singers have more pronunciation and they need to be much louder than the music or it’s hard to hear one over the other. With rap, it’s easier for me to hear when they rap slower
