Why are white male celebrities not promoted in India unlike East Asian countries?

Why do you think white women are promoted on the other hand? Even fair-skinned Indian men are not encouraged despite having many female fans.

Could be because of the dominance of Bollywood there... actually isnow the worlds biggest film industry... so I suppose they have their own homegrown stars

Because unlike here in the USA they don’t promote minorities into the media or movies because it’s mostly Indians in India

if most people from India are looking up online content via the internet that is entertainment that comes from India, then they will offer content that originates in India

now if the entertainment companies saw that Indian people are MOSTLY, all of them looking for "white male celebrities from abroad" then they would make sure to bring some of that

Indian women are not the only ones looking for entertainment, it is men too, and women, and of all ages
