So I've never really been a fan of Ed Sheeran, Cradle of Filth though, absolutely. Ed says he's a big heavy metal fan and Cradle of Filth is actually one of his favorite bands! This collab is currently underway. I'm honestly excited and who knows? Maybe I will be a fan of Ed Sheeran after this song gets released. 😂

I don't like Cradle so to me it will be bad because of them anyway. However Ed Sheeran ain't bad, I love River the one he did with Eminem. Also I just like his song Shape of you. Then of course the Rock Edit of Shape of you is just even better.

I never liked Ed much either, but I do like metal. Never heard of that group. Funny how it's one of his favorite bands, but he sings in a different genre. I can't wait to hear it!

Yes. Well just have to see what happens! Who knows, maybe more "famous" singers will jump on the heavy metal wagon. 😂 That would honestly be interesting. Maybe metal will one day become mainstream again like back in the 80s/90s.

Then they're just posers. All the metal fans I've gotten to know enjoy ALL types of music. I feel like metalheads of all people should be able to appreciate other forms of music. Personally I'll listen to just about anything, as long as it sounds good to me. Good music is good music.

But metal is for sure my favorite genre.

Well, I have bad experience.

I once gotten on a youtube channel about rock/metal, there was a survey "which band do you think is better". There was Slipknot and some second, I don't remember. I said that Slipknot style was never something appealing to me. Nothing offensive, just this. And I was called names: that I am an idiot, I don't know anything etc. And it was not the only time.

Jeez. Well they sound like a bunch of assholes. I do like Slipknot but they are by far not the best band ever. Popular does not = better. Shit I honestly think they're kinda mediocre compared to the shit I normally listen to. I mean they're alright, I do like them, but there's many other bands I would rather listen to. 🤣
