Is the bleach anime any good?

I've been trying my hardest to give it a chance, but it's really not grabbing me. Only got a couple episodes in on my first few attempts, but I decided to leave it on as background noise while I program, game, or fiddle with stuff at my desk. I've gotten about 120ish episodes in and I really have no deep yearning to see or know more. Usually by this point I'm googling spoilers and interviews with writers, trying to digest the lore of their world, but eh. Not a big fan as of yet. A lot of people really do love it though

It was a big anime back when I was a kid. Many generation Z dont like it, and I can see why. There are so many that came since it ended that are so much better.

Like the 2011 hunter x hunter remake, the power system in hunter x hunter is so creative and more interesting than bleach. Bleach used to be a part of the big three, which were naruto, one piece, and bleach.

My nephew doesn't like bleach either, and my brother doesn't understand why he doesn't like it. He thought bleach was one of the classics.

I mean, after rewatching it I just think we lacked a lot of quality seasonal animes like chainsaw man. And the whole weekly animes like bleach are very hard to pull off because there are so many good seasonal animes nowadays.

I was born during 94 and watched anime when I was a kid. Never liked it then either :/ honestly, the whole plot feels like one of the messy stories I used to write in the back of my high school notebooks. It's honestly just cringey and bad storytelling that turns me off to it

Correction: it was part of the big six at the time, you left out dragon ball, pokemon, and gundam, which were even more popular than naruto, one piece, and bleach at the time. I agree though, bleach is kinda dull.

I didn't get far. Ichigo fights some guy, guy is defeated, mortally wounded. Next episode or so he is back, no scratch. I stopped early, but when looking up fights it keeps happening. They keep getting absolutely destroyed and come back like nothing happened. I don't like it. I like the fights but the story...

I like it, but the filler is too much for honestly. I know it's not the best, but I've ended up starting to go through it and skipping all the filler episodes.

The first arc is. The second is filler. The third is alright but substantially slowed by filler. The rest is kind of lame.
