I just binged Breaking Bad it's so good? (spoiler)?

I see why it's so famous. Spoiler*** I feel so bad for Jesse and I dislike Walt. Those are my main feelings after watching the series. I wish I had a girlfriend like Jane except the heroin part and the dying part.

I only saw it one time through, and probably ten years ago (didn’t start watching til the last couple seasons), and to be honest I’ve forgotten more than I remember about it, as far as the story line. I could watch it again and still be pretty surprised, other than I know some of the people who die, and when. But others, I’ve totally forgotten their fates.

I didn’t LOVE Breaking Bad, but I’d say I really liked it, as I recall. I know a ton of people who think it’s the best show ever, or up there in that conversation. It’s like a B+/A- grade for me. Very well done show. Like I said, I’ve forgotten a lot, but I do at least remember the feeling of it being very compelling and entertaining.

You know what my problem was? I found almost none of the characters likable. You’ll obviously disagree with me here, but Jesse Pinkman is one of the most punchable characters I can remember in recent memory. I want to choke the shit out of him every time he says “bitch” or “yo” in a sentence😂 I think I just couldn’t get past that, because I do remember a few moments that could have been sympathetic, but I was just kind of skeeved out by all the meth addicts on the show. Meth isn’t really a big thing where I’m from, I’m not used to that vibe, haha. I didn’t really like Walter. I forget what Skyler did, but I remember I hated her. Walt Jr was a good kid but not a big enough character to make a difference. Hank…. had some of the makings of being likable, but at the end of the day, he was drug cop, and if you put people in jail just over drugs and make money doing so, that only a couple notches above clubbing baby seals for a living. I don’t respect actively trying to get people’s freedom taken away from them through incarceration, I believe very, very few acts warrant such punishment. Ideologically opposed to Hank, overall, I guess, haha. Tuco, Hector Salamanca, Gus Fring…. interesting, but I’m not rooting for them. I think Mike Ehrmantraut was really the one character I took a liking to. Again, that’s not to say I wasn’t INTRIGUED by the others, but I just didn’t like them enough to be really invested in them.

You should definitely check out Better Call Saul now that you’ve seen Breaking Bad, BCS is a prequel. Saul Goodman, Mike Ehrmantraut, Gus Fring, Hector Salamanca…all major players in the series. I just finished the last season a couple weeks ago, I’d definitely recommend it.

Good take. I disagree about Jesse just cause I find him likable but Walt I hate his guts. Skyler I disliked at first but towards the end of the show I sympathized with her. I really like Marie, Hank's wife. I appreciate Hank well enough although he was a bit of a bully himself at times.

Yeah Jesse is a screw-up but compared to the rest of the show he seemed human and laudable so maybe that's why I like him haha.

Well I just like Krysten Ritter I think she's pretty also was like a source of light to Jesse's bleak life and as a young man I relate to Jesse in some cases.

I think it's extremely overrated. It's situation after situation and season after season of Walter getting in trouble and getting out of trouble. It's like watching superhero movies, you know that they're never going to die. Except maybe when they want the series to end.

Well Walt gets outed eventually and he sacrifices himself and only has a fraction of the fortune he created. So I don't think he got away with it completely yeah.

I did recently I liked that it was more mellow after the craze-fest that is Breaking Bad. Now going to watch Better Call Saul.

And when you are done with better call saul. If you like Bryan Cranston, he did a short series, "your honor." where he plays a judge in another crime thriller.

Another good crime thriller, son of anarchy. It's based on the Hell's angels. It's really fucking good.

Sopranos, I heard, was like breaking bad, but I didn't watch it, so I don't know how good it is.

Godfather of Harlem and Snowfall is pretty good too.

Walt's not to blame for jane's death say what you want about him but this is true. Aye it is great and so is better call Saul if not better tbh.

Jane took the drugs she knew that could happen if he wasn't there same outcome anyway and she would of kept taking them with Jesse and Jesse would of met the same fate. Along with Jesse also been the way she got back to them in the first place.
Walt really had nothing to do with her death that was Jesse and Jane.

It's pace is even better a bit slower but in a good way. And with Saul it shows that's how he's always been. Unlike Walt which sadly it never really shows you his past. You never get to see him if he was always like that or the cancer did just change him a lot. But with Saul it shows you he's always been himself.

Jane was pushed on her back by Walt accidentally. Although I agree Jane’s bad habit made this situation more probable but in that time and place Walt had a chance to do something. Anyways I see it as a mix of both of them
