In music, what is important is compostion, not lyrics. Do you agree or disagree?

A good way of proving that is to listen to a song in another language then again with subtitle. Because you lose the composition in direct translation the song doesn't quite work.

I love songs in languages that I don't understand. I love them without understanding a single word. I don't bother learning the meaning of lyrics.

I think lyrics can be important depending on the song and genre. For most pop songs for instance, I think the lyrics are quite important.

I mostly agree but i also think that if you can put great lyrics to great music it can be doubly effective.
