Male life drawing model?

I have a male freind who is thinking about modelling nude for artists to draw or paint. Any advice for him from any artists out there?

I'm not an artist , but I will give him this small piece of advice , its more dam difficult than it looks , and dam boring , not sure if he's being paid as a life nude , but he certainly should be , it takes time , patience.

Yea he will be paid. And yes. His biggest worry is the 20 min pose. Holding the pose. And what kind of pose to do for the 5-10 and 20

I did it 3 times , around 30 years ago haha , I wanted the money , I was a student , working and paying off a house , they want you in a certain light , angle , they told me 30 mins , but really was 20 mins , even though I was young , I found it really difficult , the nude part is fine , but holding the pose , trying not to " adjust " is incredibly difficult. I think what the artists want is to only move as requested by the group , its tough.

I have been a nude life model a few times. Best thing to do, IMHO, is once you're posed, let your mind go blank because you're going to be in that position for a while.
