I heard this on the radio this morning. I had not heard anything by this artist in years. One of my ex girlfriends was a huge fan. I remember this song.

@supercutebutt I read a lot of articles about her and it was sort of cool to read about all these artists that she performed with. Richie Havens, Johnny Winter, Jimi Herndrix, Taj Mahal and eric Clapton. It was such a long time ago and it seems like it was a different world. I m probably just looking at it through some weird lens that filters out all the bad stuff but I really remember those times as being very special.

@HippieVeganJewslim I'm not Russian, but I have my reasons for not siding with the West and the Ukrainian government at the moment. The West, particularly the United States, has a very long history of meddling in the affairs of other nations, in sticking their noses where they just do not belong. The current war over there can be directly traced to the coup that was instigated and supported by the EU and the USA that saw the removal from office of V. Yanukovych, who wasn't a "dictator" as some here apparently believe, but had actually been elected to office.
Some other guy here has a Ukrainian flag displayed as his profile image, and I just thought that having the Russian flag was needed to balance things out (or at least hopefully piss him off). The thoughtless, reflexive reaction in the West to support Ukraine no matter what, to me is the height of idiocy and recklessness. It's not our war, we should stay out of it.

Do you understand that a person can reject the current Western narrative about Ukraine (because it's so obviously bogus and ridiculous) and yet not like Putin either? You know, not side with either? A person can be pro-Russia, but anti-Putin. In fact, many Russians are. If you're American does that mean you must automatically think that Joe Biden is a great president?
And what does it mean to be "pro-freedom"? Freedom is such a nebulous concept, so amorphous and requiring context.

@ Trump did not start an insurrection. This is a lie. There is video of him telling the crowd to March peacefully and patriotically. That video never surfaced at the fake hearing or on the fake news. There were no cops killed only one unarmed 110 pound woman who was shot by a trigger happy security guard that was more than twice her size. It was a a I'd that 4 capitol police officers committed suicide in the says tat followed. The official story is they couldn't live with what they saw. Would you kill yourself if you saw a guy put his feet up on Pelosis desk? A more plausible explanation is that these guys were killed because they were going to tell the truth about what really happened.

She died a couple of years ago but she was popular in the 70s and 80s She really was known as a folk act. A girl I dated was an aspiring singer/songwriter and was a big fan of hers.
