Is Naruto's voice actor a girl?

I heard that Naruto's voice actor is a woman from a friend!! This was one of my favorite shows but I did not know it. Have you heard about it before? Do you know if it is true?

His Japanese voice actor is indeed a woman. Her name is Junko Takeuchi, and she's got some serious talent. She's been providing the voice for Naruto Uzumaki since the anime kicked off in the early 2000s.

It's not just Naruto, though. This kind of gender-bending voice work happens more often than you'd think, especially in anime. It's kinda a tradition to have young male characters voiced by women. Think Goku from "Dragon Ball" or Ash Ketchum from "Pokémon"; their original Japanese voices are also by women. And don't even get me started on Bart Simpson; voiced by a woman, Nancy Cartwright.

Yes, it's true. A woman also voice acts Timmy Turner from the Fairly Odd Parents. A woman also voices Bart Simpson from The Simpsons. And in the Japanese version of Dragon Ball Z, a woman voice acts Goku. It's not too uncommon in the voice acting industry. It's more important to get the right voice/sound than it is to get the right sex or gender.
