Thoughts about the final destination series?

I was just watching the first movie again of the series and I remembered how I loved that movie as a kid but it made me anxious about my surroundings.
How about you guys? Did you enjoy them or were they not good?

I loved the acting in the first film with the plane. Very convincing. The storyline was amazing as well. The second one withh the car crash had good death stunts but the cast was forgettable. The third film at the fair/carnival is my favorite. Good acting, death scenes and yea just loved it. The fourth film at the mall was probably my next fave after the 3rd and 1st. It had the most memorable cast but felt a bit rushed. The fifth film was initially disappointing but the intro deaths and ending fight was good.

Overall ranking from fave to least 3, 1, 4, 2, 5

Yeah I know they were great.
I am more a fan of the concept they tried to pitch and the different ways the executed the death scenes

I agree it was more palatable for me than the saw series

The only SAW i liked was the second with the needle pit and the fifth with Megan Good where they all kept tryna knock eachother off

I didn't like any of the SAW movies, they were just too messy for me

They were okay. Watched some when it was new but nothing worth rewatching in my opinion.

the first two were fun and novel. but then it sort of went off the rails a bit

I liked the third one too but I get your point that it lost it's novelty

i don't quite remember the third. it was along time ago. might be better with some time having past
