What is it about tv shows that bond us?

i notice that when my friends and i watch shows together, or someone who i like and i watch a series together, we bond like crazy!
is it the laughter we can share?
is it the similar emotions we feel cause we’re watching it together? is it the fact that we like to watch the same shit? 😂🤔👂💕 all ears (and reading glasses).

It is a shared experience. There is not as many of these as there used to be because there are so many different choices. The show MASH used to be shown on Saturday night and people actually used to stay home so they could watch it. There were no DVRs to record it. The last episode still holds the record for the largest audience.

When I was a kid everyone got their music from the radio. There were maybe 2 or 3 stations that everyone listened to. Disk Jockeys were a big part of that experience and a DJ could have a big influence on people's musical tastes.
