In hunger games was katniss immoral about hornets?

when katniss caused the hornet nest to drop, intending for the mutant hornets to poison those minors, in hunger games, which occurred and hornets stung, paining those minors age 12 until 18, and 2 even died, wasn't that evil cruel and nasty?

Hunger Games is about survival. Katniss didn't choose minors for the game. She even took the place of her younger sister, Prim. Katniss was 17 years old and had already provided for her family because her mother was sick and her father died many years earlier.

So, what she did was an act of survival, self-defense. She wanted to return to her family and be sure her small sister still had warm meals and clothes.

Doesn't excuse her behavior. The moral choice would have been to refuse to abide by the false dilemma provided by the tyrannical government. Which is funny because later on in the plot she does join in a rebellion to overthrow the government. Which she could have just done from the beginning and then maybe those two people stung to death by hornets would have lived.

Hunger Games was never intelligent literature.

to isla, content took place, this seems self contradictory if as you said she provider "provided for her family because her mother was sick and her father died" then she can't RISK volunteer. she must stay out for her mom.

her sister was her priority, and Katniss resented her mother to some extent because, after their father's death, her mother didn't take care of them. So, she volunteered to save her sister. Her friend promised her he would take care of Prim and her mother.

As I understand it if she lost her district would starve. Thing I noticed about the hunger games was the lack of people.
