Have you ever gambled and won? how much did you win?

I used to bet in sports quite often, but only with a group of friends... so whatever we lost and won, would stay within us, lmao... and we often used it for BBQ's during more games to watch

I also played a lot of poker in my early 20's... mostly among friends, but also with a circle of people of one of my friends, and let's just say they didn't mind to bet as much as a (used, not a brand new or last model) car and I won that car that night, lmfao...

but I stopped that, even when you start winning at poker rather than losing money, it can become too much, too much of a "good feel" and that can turn bad very quickly

I walked into the casino with $60.00 and played the penny slots for the next few hours. at the end of my initial $60.00, I had at least $71.00. I was in dire need of money and, as my intent was to try to win a LOT of money there, rather than walk out with, roughly, the same amount I went there with, I opted to play THAT money, too, in hopes that I WOULD eventually win big. I lost all of it.
However, just about any time I played penny ante poker with my family, I won! Dad always said that, with my dumb luck, I'd clean up at a casino! Obviously not!

I had an unlikely friend, an older man who was about 40 years older than me, used to take me to casinos to make him money. :D

We also joked that he was using me for bait (for other women to look his way).

Purely gambling I've won a few time on reasonable odds like 7/1 or 5/2 but once pulled a 33/1 but it was early days so only had £1 on it rather than my now normal £5 or £10

I spent $5 on a scratch and win ticket and won $3. I also won some money at the racetrack. just in case I'm not a gambler
