It was pretty cold this morning so I go with this; John Stewart had a long career starting in the 50s. He was a member of the Cumberland Three and later was in the Kingston Trio. He had a long solo career. He also wrote Daydream Believer which was a huge hit by the Monkees and recorded a song called Gold which he did with Stevie Nicks. I never got to see him perform although he had been through town a few times. I always thought he would be around forever. He died in 2008.
