Which is your favourite comedy movie?

Modern times, Pirates of the Carribean 2 (I lost it for the whole half an hour where they almost get eaten) Wedding Crashers was alright. A lot of comedies I don't like because they rely too heavily on embarassing one character which makes me cringe and I don't find it very creative either or there's just a certain tone I don't like about it. White Chicks and American Pie, Hangover I'll add those to the list of good ones but I don't know. I guess I'm just not that big of a fan of comedy movies.

Airplane. Close contender for my favorite movie of any genre.

I almost had the opportunity to see it in a full theater, but I got the flu... like, bad. Felt like I had been hit by a train, couldn't stay awake for more than four hours at a time. Really unfortunate.

Airplane! Is still the reigning champion. One of the only comedies that still makes me laugh even after watching it probably a dozen times or more.

Galaxy Quest followed by 21st and 22nd Jump Street. Galaxy Quest goes beyond laughs for me. It tends to leave me with a huge smile at the end. Yet I can rewatch 21st and 22nd Jump Street every few years and burst out laughing so hard.

I’d probably go with Wedding Crashers or Superbad. Whole lot of contenders from that 00s era, Judd Apatow in particular made a lot of great comedies.
