Well in the 1940s every man was taking every girl out to movie musicals all the time, but nowadays it's seen as a gay thing to do.

Any guy would definitely like Umbrellas of Cherbourg from the 1960s, very sexy and a very sexy girl in it. Another one also from the 60s is The Music Man, very funny and guys would enjoy it. Also good might be Everyone Says I Love You from the 1990s. Very emotional but quirky and guys might like it.
