Anyone who has played these games, what do you think?

They also have pc versions but they aren’t on sale. If you played it, which platform is it better on? I wanna buy it since it’s on sale on ps5 and i’ve been waiting for a while but I’m hesitating. And also while I’m at it, is resident evil better on ps5 or pc cuz that’s also on sale on ps5 as well.

The Devil May Cry is long running series of action heavy combat. They are fun and fast paced.

But i would recommend you to play with controller. But PS and PC Versions are both good.

Scarlet Nexus is similiar genre, haven't played it yet, but reviews are good, its a bit more anime like.

PC because of mods, without mods its only really good for 3 playthroughs (one on the hardest difficulty by default, one with the funny versions of the devs liveacting the cutscenes, and one on the absolute hardest difficulty after unlocking it. Use a controller though.

After you have played a single player game every way it can be played, mods give endless replay value.

I don't think its worth it to buy a game that can't be modded unless endless replay value is built into the game.

@TheSpaceGnome I only play a game once anyway, once i finish the story or whatever it is, i put it away and maybe if i want to play it again in the future i will. I never even knew about modding until like a few years after i got my first pc

@TheSpaceGnome There is no such thing. Every game has an ending even if it has DLC. Endless replay value doesn’t exist, and Mods don’t do anything but change how it looks, it can’t do anything else besides that. I played consoles my entire life, you can’t mod on those.

No, games that you mod, or games that have competative multiplayer, or games that let the user create their experiences, or games that use procedural generation properly, all have infinite replay value.

Also plenty of mods in games change gameplay, add new enemy types. or add new things to do or places to go, etc, but visual mods are also fun.

You actually can mod games on consoles by the way, and some devs already support it like bethesda, studio wildcard, mojang, etc.

Halo 3 is probably a good example to argue against your point, as even the old version had forge mode and competative multiplayer, so it could be played endlessly and you could do the campaign every so often instead of just the campaign resulting in burnout.
