But I do want to come back to watching Daiya no Ace, Finish on my 3rd rewatch of Hunter x Hunter, and I still need to finish watching Attack on Titan.

@wiltingrosepetal Akira was mid, people only praise it because its an older anime. There are so many animes that outdo it in my opinion. Don't get me wrong its still decent, but its not S teir or anything.

The point wasn't that it's good, but that it's dark. People who think anime is for kids are picturing Sailor Moon and Ash Ketchum, not Akira and Light Yagami.

@wiltingrosepetal Yeah thats true lots of anime are dark (Berserk, Attack on Titan, Ghost in the Shell, Akira, Cowboy Bebop, etc) I'm usually not a fan of realism and depressing themes though, I prefer bright colors, beautiful art, action packed combat, weird and interesting things, and comedy.

I really don't understand why some people think fantasy, fun, and color = childish, to me thats just nonsense.
